It can handle logs 20 inches long and about 24 inches in diameter but also can split logs as big as some of the more cumbersome and expensive counter parts on the market. The manufacturer uses the same beam and hydraulics design on this unit as the top end commercial splitters, so you can be assured you are not ordering a wimpy firewood processor but getting a Beast.
Even though this log splitter is labeled as a residential log splitter, we have sold this splitter for commercial uses. This gas powered hydraulic wood splitter is very durable and has seen some applications that have put it to the test.
